This group of four, part-cubic Fluorite crystals is from the famous Annabel Lee mine in Hardin County Illinois, USA, a mine within the classic Illinois-Kentucky Fluorite District. The ex-matrix, intergrown crystals are of semi-translucent golden honey yellow, outlined with stunning electric blue and indigo edges. Individual faces are generally flat, yet contain linear geometric patterns resulting from step growth within the faces. All crystal edges are razor sharp and straight, giving a crisp appearance to this cabinet specimen. Under LWUV there is a mild purple fluorescence to the blue edges while the golden honey faces remain non-fluorescent. A delightful colour zoned Fluorite from Illinois.
