An outstanding small cabinet specimen of gemmy, lemon Fluorite displaying exquisite colour zoning at the edges of the cubic prisms. From Hilton mine in Scordale, Cumbria, England, water clear Fluorite crystals up to 1.8 cm on edge cover both sides of a rib of grey limestone. Both single and interpenetrant twins rich cover the matrix and many prisms exhibit beautiful mauve and sky blue colour zoning around the prism edges. Occasional prisms are elongated to form cuboid crystals. It's a superb example of gemmy and colour-zoned lemon Fluorite from Hilton mine.
