A stunning miniature specimen comprising an epitaxial cluster of light emerald-green octahedral Fluorite crystals from Riemvasmaak in Northern Cape Province, South Africa. The crystals grade from transparent to translucent and vary in shades of green according to the thickness of the crystal and proximity to edges and faces; with darker shades towards the cores. The octahedron edges are up to 3.7 cm long and, overall, full octahedral crystals measure between about 2 and 4 cm across. The quality is excellent, with no obvious damage to the main crystals. A very fine and aesthetic specimen from this small, but classic African occurrence.
