A classic intergrown group of daylight fluorescent gemmy translucent dark green Fluorite crystals from the famous Height's mine, Weardale that has been inaccessible for many years. This cabinet specimen was collected pre-1970 and is from the superb George Farr collection. The Fluorite crystals measure up to 2 cm on edge and display the classic interpenetrant twinning habit, and have two internal purple colour band-zones. There is some damage to the corners of several crystals, but specimens of this size, colour, and quality from Height's mine are so rare.
