Crystals of well-formed cubic Fluorite to 2.4 cm of pastel blue covering a light purple phantom from West Pasture mine near to Stanhope in Weardale, County Durham. Close examination of the crystals reveals five distinct colour zones adjacent to the faces, the outer most being a beautiful teal-blue. The Fluorite crystals are surrounded with a druse of whitish Calcite crystals and minor Galena. Under LWUV the Fluorite fluoresces bright whitish-lilac. An excellent small cabinet specimen from West Pasture, a mine normally associated for its famous apple green Fluorite.
