Euclase is one of the rarest of gem mineral species. It has been recognized for centuries but crystals remain very rare in comparison to most other gems. This specimen is a nice individual matrixless thumbnail-sized colourless crystal from Chiá mine in Minas Gerais, Brazil. It shows a good prismatic to bladed form and is well terminated. Ex David Hardman collection.
