A delicate thumbnail of interwoven, deep-lime to bottle-green Epidote crystals with tiny clusters of pure snow-white Adularia crystals, the transparent variety of potassium Feldspar. The Epidote forms long acicular prisms to 1.5 cm long, which grade from transparent to opaque. Amongst the Adularia crystals are micro sprays of pale sea-blue-green Byssolite, a fibrous variety of Amphibole forming hair-like needles. A great specimen from the Alpine epidote-amphibolite clefts in the Knappenwand of the Untersulzbach Valley, Salzburg, Austria.
