A wonderful small cabinet specimen of large, well defined Enargite pseudomorphed crystals after Azurite from the Tsumeb mine. One of Tsumeb's many claims to fame is its wide variety of pseudomorphs, with Enargite after Azurite being one of the rarer. The pseudomorphed crystals in this specimen show typical chisel tipped former blades of Azurite to about 6.5 cm long, replaced by matt sooty-mid grey Enargite with a rough granular texture sprinkled with occasional rhombohedral Calcite crystals to about 2 mm across. A magnificent pseudomorph and probably amongst the absolute best of its kind from Tsumeb.
