A rusty-brown, Limonite-coated Quartz matrix with about half of its top surface encrusted with acicular Cerussite crystals to 8 mm, almost all of which are richly coated in micro-crystals Dundasite. The Dundasite, a rare lead aluminium carbonate, forms micro-acicular druses of snow-white crystals with a silky bright lustre. This species is well known from Greystone quarry at Lezant, a little to the south-east of Launceston in Cornwall. Greystone is an operating roadstone quarry, whose operations intersect the old, 19th Century, North Tamar lead mine.
