Cylindrite is a tin-lead-antimony-iron sulphosalt, so named for its linear, cylindrical crystals. This specimen is from its type locality at the Santa Cruz mine in Poop' Province, Oruro, Bolivia. A small miniature, this matrix-free specimen of solid crystallised Cylindrite is dark grey with a rather greasy metallic lustre, formed from crude cylindrical crystals, many to around 2 cm in length. The specimen comes with a Dr F. Krantz of Bonn dealer label.
