Native Copper and Cuprite combine to form a fabulous three-dimensional sculpture. The Native Copper has a reddish to golden copper colour, with a superb patina and sharp crystallisation in a variety of forms, some crystals having striated faces. The Cuprite crystals are scattered over the Native Copper's arborescent form, sitting dominantly on the ends of the Copper branches. The Cuprites measure to 7 mm with many sharply crystallised octahedrons with a metallic to bright silvery lustre and are deep red under strong light with flashes of ruby red. A gorgeous and quite unique form, some say it looks like a standing person, others a poodle - we will let you decide!
