An absolutely world-class Cronstedtite from the famous Herja mine in Romania. Known as the source of the world's finest specimens, very few larger display specimens survive the ravages of time. On this stunning large miniature specimen excellent radial botryoidal black Cronstedtite crystal aggregates display a multitude of sparkling terminated crystal faces in dome-like forms reaching 1.4 cm in diameter. The total coverage of Cronstedtite is over an area measuring 4.8 cm x 4.5 cm on a creamy hard clay matrix. A classic specimen displaying the habit so well-known from the location and in stunning condition. Ex Huber collection.
