Several bright blood-orange bladed crystals of Crocoite measuring in the 5mm range are scattered over acidic-yellow to deep green intergrown crystals of Pyromorphite, from the Berezovskii area in Russia. Berezovskii is the type locality for the lead chromate, Crocoite. The specimen comes with a misleading old label with the name Laxmannite on it, an old name for Vauquelinite. This is a delightful large miniature of vividly coloured Crocoite and Pyromorphite from this historic locality in the Middle Urals of Russia.
