Tunaberg and Håkansboda in Sweden are the two iconic historic localities for crystallized Cobaltite. Both known since the 18th century, they have both produced wonderful 3-dimensional crystals of an otherwise rarely well-crystallized species. This bright, silvery metallic, individual, off-matrix Cobaltite crystal from Tunaberg, displays wonderful form with only very minor edge wear. It is not quite thumbnail in size, but is a fine example of this historically important cobalt-bearing species.
