An extremely rich, large miniature specimen of the rare copper iron phosphate hydroxide hydrate mineral, Chalcosiderite, from the Co-Type Locality at Phoenix United mine, Cornwall, England. All sides of this specimen are liberally covered in glossy, deep forest green crystals of Chalcosiderite clustered as typical rosette-like aggregates and despite its softness there is very little abrasion to the crystals on this specimen. Chalcosiderite from Phoenix United mine is widely regarded as the best in the world having been discovered during the latter part of the 19th century.
