Extensive rich crystalline-botryoidal Chalcosiderite invests small vugs and larger cavities in a typical Quartz-Goethite gossan matrix in shades of rich cinnamon, russet and rust, eye-catching in its own right. The Chalcosiderite forms aggregates of dark green to vibrant emerald green bladed crystals. A classic and fine specimen of Chalcosiderite from Wheal Phoenix, Minions, Cornwall, recognised as Chalcosiderite’s joint type locality with Hollertszug Mine in Germany.
