Well-known for fine crystals of Chalcopyrite, this small miniature specimens is, even by the standards of this historic Arsenic mine at Lower Rotgülden lake, exceptional. Displaying beautiful growth-lines, sharp crystal faces and with a very bright golden metallic appearance, this small aggregate of very large (to over 2 cm) Chalcopyrite crystals presents extremely well. The addition of tiny white needle Quartz crystals adds to its quality. Ex Martin and Michael Günther (1951-2007 & 1956-2021) collection, this is not only an excellent Austrian Chalcopyrite, but a fine European Chalcopyrite too.
