This is a rather fun-looking miniature specimen from the Trepča complex in Kosovo. Renowned for its stunning crystallized sulphide specimens, this piece from Trepča consists of a well-formed 4.7 cm wide hexagonal Pyrrhotite crystal upon which a cluster of curved (sphenoidal) golden Chalcopyrite crystals are crowned. The Pyrrhotite crystal has a finely crystallized surface, but with an overall rounded hexagonal shape.
