An excellent bright specimen of intergrown bladed pseudohexagonal Chalcocite crystals from the Crenver and Abraham mine near Crowan in Cornwall, approximately mid-way between Camborne and Helston. Although this mine produced great specimens of Chalcocite, it has been over-shadowed by mines in the Camborne-Redruth area. This specimen has particularly fine large crystals of up to 1.7 cm across. It is mounted vertically on a clear acrylic base and comes with two different styles of label from the same collector.
