The copper(I) sulphide Chalcocite forms a roughly 3 x 2.5 cm surface of intergrown , bevelled hexagonal crystals on a matrix of vuggy crystallised Chalcocite and iron-rich Quart veinstone. The vugs also contain many well formed hexagonal crystals, some with thin overgrowths of pale sage green powdery Chlorite. The silver-grey metallic prisms have a slightly corroded and eroded appearance, possibly form later phases of natural dissolution or fluid cutting.
