A well-developed, equant and multi-faced crystal of colourless Cerussite, sits aesthetically on a layer of dark green Duftite from Tsumeb mine in the Oshikoto Region of Namibia. The almost spherical Cerussite crystal measures to 2.6 cm across almost in all dimensions and is largely colourless, grading to a slightly smoky light grey. The faces are lustrous and much smaller Cerussite crystals sit towards one end of this small cabinet (or possibly large miniature, depending on your definition!). Micro-crystals of dark olive green Duftite form a drusy blanket over much of the specimen, underlain by creamy, almost solid Mimetite on a small amount of Dolomite matrix. This is an excellent equant Cerussite crystal from Tsumeb, enhanced by its marked contrast against the dark Duftite. A top notch specimen.
