This is a thumbnail-sized uncut fragment from the famous Carbonaceous Chondrite Allende meteorite which fell to Earth at Pueblito de Allende in Mexico on 8 February 1969 at 01.05 hrs (according to its accompanying label!). The classic internal pisolitic texture is displayed nicely on this 2.4 g specimen. Ex David Baker collection.
