A very impressive rich group of perfectly formed 'nail-head' calcite crystals from the P?'bram Mining District of the Czech Republic. The perfection of the crystals is reminiscent of the classic West Cumbrian calcites of north west England. Although quite densely packed, each crystal has had space to develop as an individual, so producing a range of sizes and orientations. Contrasting against a background of microcrystalline iridescent Pyrite, this is a delightful P?'bram Calcite.
