This rather unusual Calcite-Dolomite combination specimen from Tsumeb mine is reminiscent of a feathered head-dress. Very small miniature in size, the snow-white pearlescent Dolomite forms an opening, perhaps the centre of a stalactite, with a single, but stepped cream coloured Calcite crystal appearing like a fan around the top of the Dolomite. A small, very dark green dot in the centre of the Dolomite appears to be an inclusion of Mottramite, providing certainly if any were needed, of its origin at Tsumeb mine. The Calcite crystal has rounded edges but does not appear to be damaged, making this a lovely albeit smaller Tsumeb specimen.
