The P?'bram Mining District is well known for its variety of Calcite and this specimen is yet another delightful example. Sharp, well defined scalenohedral crystals, all about 2 cm tall with broad bases, are coloured a uniform pale apricot-pink with a semi-matt to silky glassy lustre. Every crystal is sharply terminated, save for one that is slightly bruised and another slightly cleaved. A beautiful form and eye-catching coloured Calcite from the Czech Republic.
