Excellent transparent tabular blades of Baryte form two distinct towering stacks at either end of a Calcite crystal lined vug. This specimen is from the occurrence high in the vertical face of Peak Hill where it forms part of the coastal cliffs, south-west of Sidmouth in Devon. The Baryte forms perfectly terminated blades to 2.7 x 1.0 cm which are a highly lustrous, delicate golden honey.
