This sculptural cabinet specimens comprises of interlocking, double terminated blue Baryte crystals with finely disseminated Hematite inclusions in places. Around the specimen’s base and sparsely along some of the crystal faces are cream Dolomite crystals up to 2 cm long. The main Baryte crystal measures 12 cm long and is sharply terminated at both ends. Do please note the broad, diagonally aligned Baryte crystal does have a cleaved end. The lively arrangement of crystals makes for a wonderful display specimen of this English classic from the Frizington area of west Cumbria and is accompanied with an old copperplate handwritten Freiberg label.
