This big and extremely showy, colourful Azurite specimen is a classic from Arizona. It is from the Czar mine at Bisbee - an early 20th century large output underground mine. This specimen is almost pure Azurite (with a little Malachite), forming a large slightly nodular mid-blue mass dominated by two sizable cavities lined with sparkling small deep blue Azurite crystals. The largest cavity reaches 6 x 5 cm in size. These cavities are immaculate, with no discernible damage, making for a really stunning, colourful, old-time Bisbee display.
