Bright lustrous crystals of deep royal blue Azurite are abundantly clustered and scattered over a mixed matrix of bright lime green Arsentsumebite and Bayldonite with yellow Gartrellite. From Tsumeb mine in Namibia, the Azurite crystals measure to 1 cm and have a bladed to blocky habit. The contrast between the dark lustrous Azurite and bright greens and yellow of the matrix make for a stunning large miniature or small cabinet specimen. Bayldonite is a lead-copper arsenate and Arsentsumebite is of similar composition, but with the addition of sulphate; it is the arsenate analogue of Tsumebite.
