This really rich small cabinet-sized aggregate of glossy, deep forest-green prismatic Atacamite crystals is from Southwest mine at Bisbee. The individual crystals exceptionally reach 1 cm in length, but most are less than half of that. None are obviously terminated, but instead are all intergrown as a dense, pure, aggregate. A very rich example of this unusual secondary copper species. Ex David Hardman collection, no. 958.
