This terrific cabinet Arsenopyrite with Muscovite, Siderite and Ferberite is a delightful and well-priced example from Panasqueira mine at Covilh' in the Castelo Branco District of Portugal. This enormous underground complex remains in full operation to this day and is why excellent specimens such as this are priced so low. Each of the four species are well crystallised, including the Muscovite which occurs in lustrous silver spheres of intergrown bladed crystals. The fine crystallisation of the metallic silver Arsenopyrite, orange-tan Siderite and black Ferberite is evident from the accompanying photographs. This fine specimen is accompanied with two typed and printed labels from former collections.
