An interesting miniature of crystallised Argentopyrite and Pyrargyrite from the P'hla-Tellerh'user mine in the Schwarzenberg District of Saxony, Germany. Formerly in East Germany, this was one or the worlds largest uranium mines working a Cambrian-Ordovician polymetallic skarn. Well developed crystals of both species measure up to about 2 mm over a creamy white matrix with an earthy texture and lustre. Magnification is required to differential the two crystal habits as both are a similar metallic grey, one perhaps a little more silver than the other.
