An excellent small cabinet specimen of the lead-rich variety of Aragonite, 'Tarnowitzite', in beautifully terminated, opaque milky-white, stubby crystals. From the Tsumeb mine in Namibia, the 'Tarnowitzite' has a bright glassy lustre and all the crystals stand erect in a bed of blueish-leaf-green granular Malachite, acting as a perfect foil to the white Aragonite crystals, which are developed up to 1 x 1 x 0.8 cm. This is a great example of 'Tarnowitzite', the plumbian variety of Aragonite, from the Tsumeb mine and highly aesthetic.
