An outstanding specimen of a few hundred colourless to milky-white Anglesite crystals clustered around a core of pale clove-brown Pyromorphite crystals from the Block 14 Opencut at Broken Hill Proprietary Mine in New South Wales, Australia. The Anglesite crystals vary in size between a few mm and 2 cm, but are typically about 1 cm in width. The crystals are bright and glassy, with clarity ranging from opaque to transparent. Central to the surrounding Anglesite is a 5.0 x 4.0 x 3.5 cm core of stubby Pyromorphites crystals with a slight silky lustre, to about 2 to 3 mm tall. A nice combination of Anglesite and Pyromorphite which form a very fine Cabinet specimen.
