A group of very rich and showy Anglesite crystals from within the 2nd Oxidation Zone on 28 Level in the Tsumeb mine, Namibia. This specimen is composed almost entirely of Anglesite, including most of the matrix, save for a little pinkish-grey carbonate. Perhaps the most striking crystal, which stands vertical on the matrix, measures 3.5 x 2.8 x 2.3 cm, with an even larger, 5.5 x 2.5 cm crystal lying flat against the matrix. The crystals all have slightly curved prism faces and are an opaque creamy-white with a bright lustre. A great Tsumeb Anglesite.
