An excellent rich cabinet specimen of Andradite Garnet displaying abundant intergrown crystals measuring to 8 mm and displaying typical milky chocolate beige faces with their edges delineated by dark chocolate brown. This is a classic Andradite on a matrix of pale green to yellowish Hedenbergite from Serifos Island in the South Aegean Sea offshore Greece. This island is known for its skarn mineralisation, with these Andradite Garnet groups probably being its most iconic species.
