Sitting on a matrix of opaque white Albite, many prismatic crystals of gemmy Epidote richly encrust the specimen, together with an elongated cluster of snow-white Albite crystals to 9 mm across.  The mineralisation occurs here in veins originating from the metamorphism of the basic host rocks.
