Brumado in Bahia, Brazil, is one of the premier world localities for this species. Here we have a lovely miniature specimen from Brumado, displaying a cluster of large, white, well-formed rhombic Magnesite crystals (up to over 1.5 cm across) upon which sits a single orange rhombic crystal of Svanbergite. The Svanbergite crystal is perfectly formed, about 5 to 6 mm across, and stands out well against the contrasting white Magnesite. The specimen is mounted on an acrylic base for display.
