Mineralogically, it is renowned for fine individual crystals of Strontianite which usually occur isolated, sat upon bladed masses of Baryte. This lovely miniature specimen from the collection of brothers Martin and Michael Günther (1951-2007 \u0026amp; 1956-2021) shows this association really well, along with the other notable mineral - Chalcopyrite. The Strontianite forms well-formed, slightly cream coloured resinous prisms, to 5 mm across, perched upon thin white tabular blades of Baryte. A single, golden metallic Chalcopyrite crystal is also seen on the Baryte.
