It was then classified as a variety of Rhodonite and may well, at some point in the future, be given its own species status. A remarkably fine large cabinet specimen of well-formed Rhodonite crystals in a white Calcite matrix with black crystals of Franklinite and brown rounded crystals of Willemite.
