This attractive light and dark pink alternately banded specimen is a cut and polished thin (2.6 cm) slice presenting quite a wide area (11 x 9 cm) ending with a beige coloured layer. It is not a parallel cut, but tapers at one end. It doesn't show one circular stalactite, but a very thick sequence of banding from either one side of an extremely large stalactite or a flowstone with attractive patternation.
