{"product_id":"ralstonite-with-thomsenolite","title":"RALSTONITE   with THOMSENOLITE","description":"The famous Ivigtut Cryolite Deposit is on the western coast of southern Greenland, a location set in stunning scenery of water, mountains and snow.  This fine small cabinet specimen displays an excellent coverage of both Thomsenolite and Ralstonite crystals, but before progressing any further, I must point out that Ralstonite is now renamed Hydrokenoralstonite.  Ivigtut is type locality for both species.  The Hydrokenoralstonite forms colourless octahedral crystals and the Thomsenolite, elongated steep-sided square pyramidal crystals with flat pinacoids and generally stained rusty brown with iron hydroxides.  Specimens from this long worked-out mine are becoming increasingly difficult to find, and this is a super example.  The Ivigtut Cryolite Deposit is located at Ivittuut (Ivigtut) on Arsuk Fjord, Sermersooq, Greenland.","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46545416781999,"sku":"CC28333","price":2500.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0710\/8516\/2671\/files\/CC28333.png?v=1770389965","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.com\/products\/ralstonite-with-thomsenolite","provider":"Crystal Classics","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
