The Tetrahedrite occurs as rare crystals and a more pervasive granular component of the matrix.  The Quartz crystals are typically 3 to 4 cm tall by 1 to 2 cm in diameter.  Their prism faces are completely encrusted with micro semi-opaque white Quartz crystals with a fine sucrosic frosted texture whereas the hexagonal pyramidal terminations are smooth with a bright glassy lustre.
