This mine has produced some exceptionally large individual crystals, but most of these are damaged, or lack an intensity in colour. That is certainly not something that can be said about this beauty. Here, two very large, somewhat squat terminated pyramidal crystals sit upright for display in what is a large cabinet piece. The crystals reach at least 10 cm in height with a width of nearly 13 cm and present a fabulous rich purple glassy pyramidal top with clear zonation to a pale purple short prism below.
