The largest Fluorite crystal measures exactly 4 cm on edge and all vary in the intensity of purple from pale lilac and lavender to blackberry.  So typical of Blackdene mine, the pale tan tinted Quartz crystals preferentially coat certain sides of the Fluorite crystals, indicating its “way-up” while in situ.
