{"product_id":"quartz-japan-law-twin-3","title":"QUARTZ   Japan Law Twin","description":"The Washington Camp-Duquesne District defines a roughly 5 x 5 km mining area on the southern Arizona border with Mexico, about 25 km east of Nogales, which extends about 1 km into Mexico.  The mines exploit a zinc-lead-copper-silver-gold-tungsten deposit from which about 70 mineral species have been recorded, amongst which are specimens of Japan Law twinned Quartz.  This ex-matrix miniature is a beautiful example, making it a perfect specimen by which to display this habit of twinning, should such a display be required.  Measuring 4.8 x 5.1 x 0.7 cm. This perfectly flattened Quartz twin displays a Faden-type plane of symmetry, two highly flattened terminations with a bright glassy lustre and frosted prism faces. The re-entrant angle which separates the twins appears to be at 90 degrees, but if measured accurately should be at an angle of 84'33'.  A superb Japan Law twin from Southern Arizona, once belonging to the Dr Josef Clemente Collection.","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46545290526895,"sku":"CC21080","price":1500.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0710\/8516\/2671\/files\/CC21080.png?v=1770378460","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.com\/products\/quartz-japan-law-twin-3","provider":"Crystal Classics","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
