This mine was formed in 1887 to control Blocks 15 and 16, with operations extending to both sides of the Menindee Road.  A lustrous, fan-like array of Pyromorphite crystals display a purple tinge to the varied shades of brown individual crystals which measure to 2.9 cm, with many of these displaying divergent multiple crystal terminations. This is a fabulous cabinet  specimen of Pyromorphite viewed from both front and back and will grace any Broken Hill collection!
