Formerly named Broken Hill, the Kabwe mine lies about 130 km north of Lusaka in Central Province, Zambia.  The Pyromorphite crystals are of an exquisite colour and form a radial spray emanating form a common base attached to a little black granular sulphide matrix.  A few of the Pyromorphite terminations are coloured sooty black by a thin coating of sulphides.
