{"product_id":"pyrochlore-1","title":"PYROCHLORE","description":"Pyrochlore is a group of rare niobium-bearing species, but characterizing the individual discrete species is difficult and requires detailed chemical analysis. This miniature-sized specimen comes from one of the world's classic occurrences - Vishnevye Mountains in Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia. There, several veins are recorded as having produced fine Pyrochlore Group crystals, but the specific details of these veins are rarely documented on collection labels. Upon this piece a white host rock is coated on one side with really nicely formed pyramidal and bipyramidal Pyrochlore Group crystals reaching 6 mm on edge and presenting a lovely deep burgundy red\/brown colour and resinous lustre. Most of the reddish-brown Pyrochlore Group crystals from Vishnevye Mountains are reported as Fluorcalciopyrochlore, so that is a strong possibility here. This really is a very richly crystallized specimen for the area, and it is on a good-sized piece of matrix too. It is from the superb systematic collection assembled by the brothers Martin and Michael Günther (1951-2007 \u0026amp; 1956-2021).","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46545416552623,"sku":"CC28323","price":900.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0710\/8516\/2671\/files\/CC28323.png?v=1770389955","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.com\/products\/pyrochlore-1","provider":"Crystal Classics","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
