It should be noted from the outset that it is repaired, but this is nevertheless a true mineralogical wonder. Look carefully and you will see that the four cubic crystals do not form a complete circuit, but have a gap inbetween, so that three of the crystals hang off the final cube in either direction. Two of the cubes have chips missing from a corner each and there is very slight 'nibbling' along the edges of a couple of crystals, but this is a natural work of art - simply so dramatic. A fifth smaller cube protrudes from the side of the largest crystal. With mirror-bright metallic faces, this is an absolutely stunning Spanish Pyrite.
